A new spin on resumes at career fairs....
It’s vital that you prepare for the Career Fair by researching who will be there and what they do. It’s also vital that you bring copies of your résumé to hand out to the recruiters. However, don’t be alarmed if some recruiters don’t accept paper résumés. Some recruiters travel to multiple campuses before they return to their home office, which makes collecting -- and carrying around -- a lot of résumés impossible. Some recruiters will tell you to email your résumé to them, or go to their website and post it there. We suggest that you take your flash drive to the Career Fair and if the recruiter has a laptop with them, you can copy your résumé directly to it.
