Please remember to bring plenty of copies of your resume (hopefully critiqued by a Career Center staff member) and to DRESS PROFESSIONALLY!!

You may ask us what is professional dress and why would we make you dress up just for a fair?
When employers come on campus, we want UA students and alumni to impress them. We want you to look sharp and professional. Making a good impression with professional attire is SO important.

Here are just a few guidelines to follow:

NO Flip Flops

NO Jeans (steer clear of denim in general)

NO Shorts

NO T-Shirts

NO Casual Social Event Attire (Party or Cocktail dress)

NO Strapless Dresses

Remember that modesty is always the best policy at career fairs. If you have a question regarding a outfit you might consider wearing  to the Career fair (or anything else related to the fairs), you can always call the Career Center and just ask!! (205-348-5848)
